There is no particular reason for this name. At the time, "fool" was one of the most common swear words in the country. This was the whole interest - to leave in the "fools". Initially, the game was played according to rather simplified rules (“simple fool”). However, later there were also throw-in and transfer.

Flip fool without the Internet is a classic version of the card game, known in Russia since the 18th century. The game uses a deck of 24, 36 or 52 cards and involves two to four players. Each is dealt 6 cards, the next card after the distribution is opened, and its suit sets the trump card for this game. The player's task is to get rid of all the cards. The last player who does not get rid of the cards remains in the "fools". The player with the lowest trump card goes first, then clockwise.
